A block of 70 rooms has been pre-booked at the Las Américas Hotel in Cartagena de Indias (5 minutes' walk from the Convention and Exhibition Center - see site layout photo above). There are 50 rooms at the Casa de Playa Hotel and 20 rooms at the Torre del Mar Hotel - both hotels are at the same location.

Buffet breakfast is included in all the rates below. Checkin time is 15:00. Checkout time is 13:00.

Special discount rates have been negotiated; please note that these special rates vary in line with how far ahead you book your room. We especially draw your attention to the detailed conditions (see below) and invite you to note the two key price change dates: 9 August and 9 September 2017.

  Payment

All individual guests are responsible for settling their own accounts online, in advance, by credit card. Personal cheques will not be accepted. There is no extra charge for payment by credit card.

  Terms, conditions and cancellation policy (please read carefully)

• The above room rates are in US Dollars and are per room, per night
• All rates include buffet breakfast
• Rates only apply to participants in the 52nd CIML Meeting and Associated Events
• Rates are only applicable between 8 and 14 October 2017 (2 days before and after the events, subject to availability)
• Dollar rates include hotel insurance and consumption tax
• Dollar rates apply to Non-Residents only. Residents in Colombia are liable to pay an additional 19 % VAT charge
• In order to guarantee your reservation, it is necessary to make full payment of the total number of nights reserved by credit card, within 8 days
• Reservations made at the above special negotiated rates cannot be cancelled or modified
• No-show policy: After confirming and paying for your reservation, the penalty for No-show equals 100 % of the total cost of your stay
• Late checkout: according to availability, late checkout is possible and will be charged at the rate of USD 90 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. After that time, the full room rate will be charged
• Early departure: In the event of early departure from the hotel on a date other than the initial reservation, the hotel will charge a penalty equal to 100 % of the nights booked plus VAT except in the event of an act of God, domestic calamity or force majeure
• Early checkin (before 15:00): Subject to availability, early checkin may be possible; please advise the hotel prior to arrival in this case to make individual arrangements
